Over 25% better cooling than standard using our special controlled-atmosphere-brazed cores and optimum 12 fins per inch (FPI) for maximum cooling and minimum blockage.
Lighter than standard item, but designed to withstand the rigours of harsh environments likely to be encountered by Land Rovers. All pipe connections are swaged for pipe security and all our radiators are pressure tested before dispatch to 30psi. Aluminium radiators are preliminary designed for maximum cooling rather than .longevity
Non XL: The non XL version is an uprated direct replacement of the original.
XL: Extra Large Capacity high efficiency alloy radiator for all Land Rover 200Tdi models, 70mm wider than standard, includes integral oil cooler. Suitable for both Defender and Discovery vehicles fitted with our large front mount intercooler. Please see our uprated replacement radiator if you have an intercooler in the original position. Fits in original position using standard hoses. Some small modifications required to mounting frame, alternatively we offer a replacement frame specifically for the XL radiator
Fan pack: If ‘with fan pack’ is selected, this will include an integral fan pack with Spal VA13 13″ fan, removable cowl and thermostatic switch
Fitting type (O ring connection / Cone connection):
This item includes an integral oil cooler with CNC machined threaded connections. Please note that there are two types of oil cooler fittings and you need to let us know which version you require. If you are unsure, please see the images below or contact us.
Although all our radiators are available with electric fan packs, for maximum cooling, we recommend using the original viscous fan.
