High efficiency replacement radiator for Discovery 2 V8.
Direct replacement requiring no modifications to install.
Over 40% better cooling than standard using our special controlled atmosphere brazed core and optimum 12 fins per inch (FPI) for maximum cooling.
Hand built and fully TIG welded at our Herefordshire workshops using high grade corrosion resistant aluminium.
All pipe connections are swaged for pipe security and all our radiators are tested up to 30 psi before dispatch.
Lighter than standard item, but designed to withstand the rigours of harsh environments likely to be encountered by Land Rovers.
This item is also available with fan and thermostatic switch. For maximum cooling, we recommend using the original viscous fan.
Aluminium radiators are primarily designed to aid cooling as they are far more efficient than copper and brass, rather than longevity.
AlliSport products are regularly developed and used in events such as the Dakar rally.

I recently replaced the 4.6L V8, radiator, and fan in my 2004 Discovery II G4, at 180K miles, with a 5.3L aluminum V8 Vortec engine and this aluminum radiator with two electric fans, and I could not be more pleased with the results! The work was performed by Eric Brown at Trailhead 4×4, including a custom modification to accommodate the fan shroud. The radiator/fan combination has performed flawlessly at 11,000 ft in the Rocky Mountains, and I am looking forward to taking it to the high-temperature environment in September at the Great American Rover Rally. I’ve been running my 2003 D2 with this radiator for just over two years. I’ve seen a dramatic improvement in temperature reduction using this over the stock radiator. I live in south Texas, most summers the temps can exceed 110f, with this radiator I was able to reduce dangerously high temps to a safe range, while driving 75mph over long distances. My D2 is fitted as an overlander, with a lot of heavy upgrades, as well as a front bumper that impedes airflow and a roof rack with lights, etc. I paired the radiator with a Derale twin fan setup, to me this is an unbeatable solution. I’ll be swapping in a 5.3L LS3 motor in the near future and expect that this will perform even better with that motor. Allisport is the best at what they do, outstanding product!
