Description
The 2.4 Tdci engine responds well to tuning and our ECU remap increases throttle response, flexibility and overall drivability.
It is possible to program the 2.4 through the OBD (onboard diagnostic port) meaning the ECU is not opened or tampered with and can be returned to standard.
Included in the mapping is disabling of the speed limiter and EGR operation.
We can offer a reduced price if you prefer not to eliminate these functions
We require the vehicle for around 2 hours where we perform basic diagnostic checks and also update the ECU software to the latest version.
Maps are developed together with BAS Remaps to suit our high performance intercooler. We also sell the BAS2 RRC remote remap tool if you are unable to bring the vehicle to us, please enquire for further details
We strongly advise installation of an uprated intercooler in conjunction with ECU remapping. The combination can provide 185bhp and up to 440nm torque with improved fuel economy
AlliSport strive to produce the highest quality products designed to withstand many years of use and we are proud to stand behind these products. However, we manufacture many products and if you make enough of anything, a limited number of problems may be expected. It is how we deal with a problem that is important!
Effective January 2016 onwards, if your product fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair or replace it without charge, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use.
Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.
The products eligible for warranty are covered to the original owner, for the lifetime of the product. Unfortunately, this does not mean your lifetime. Your AlliSport® intercooler may not survive to the ripe old age of 70.
(But we have heard from happy customers whose well-loved and cared for 1999 products are still going strong!)
For warranty evaluation, your product must be returned directly to AlliSport Ltd, Aubrey’s Farm, Bromesberrow Estate, Ledbury, Herefordshire, HR8 1RZ, UK, including a copy of the receipt, otherwise we require an order or invoice number to track it through our records.
All shipping for warranty must be pre-paid and insured and accompanied by reference to the original invoice. We cannot be liable for lost or damaged in-bound packages.
Not all AlliSport products are covered by the lifetime warranty, please check the warranty tab on the product detail page for further info. We will not be held liable for any costs associated with removal and refitting of a product covered by this warranty. You accept these conditions by purchasing the product.
