Unfortunately it was the same as the yellow plastic original, creating a vacuum when the engine cooled, also when I unscrewed the cap the centre regulator part popped out.
Borrowed a genuine Landrover one from sons defender and it has been working fine since.
Might be travelling to the UK later this year, will bring the cap with me, hopefully you will be able to replace the plastic part. Star rating is based on all the LR owners I know who have had no problems at all with your product.

Hi Eric, thank you for the feedback. We use genuine LR cap internals inside the aluminium cover, so it should operate the same as an original cap. You are welcome to send the cap and we can have a close look with our suppliers to see if we can find the issue.
