AS101 – Toyota Landcruiser 4.2 100 series Intercooler

• Intercooler
• 1 x M6 x15 bolt + washers & nyloc nut
• 2 x M8 x 15 bolts
• 4 x flat brackets with 8.5mm holes as below –
• 2 x 40mm centres
• 1 x 35mm centres
• 1 x 30mm centres

Allow 3 hours for installation

• Remove plastic grille
• Remove bonnet catch
• Remove support bar, this is no longer required
• Remove original intercooler
• Depending on the model of vehicle it may be necessary to use the brackets provided to move the steering and gearbox coolers to allow space for new larger intercooler
• Install new Intercooler attaching top mounting to bonnet catch fixing using M6 bolt supplied
• The new intercooler is designed to use original pipe connections
• The two lower side fixings are designed to use captive threads in the front chassis cross
  member. Use the two M8 bolts here.
• Ensure all pipe connections are secure before testing.
• Refit plastic grille after removing top grille fixing.
