Important

Although intercooler installation is straightforward, the front of the car will need to be dismantled to achieve access. Allow sufficient time for the work to be completed, we suggest minimum one day

  • It will be necessary to empty and refill the AC gas to allow removal of the condenser
  • The AC condenser / radiator plastic cowl must be notched to add clearance – AC condenser needs to be spaced out using supplied rubber mounts
  • Fuel cooler pipes need to be extended using rubber fuel hose
  • As the radiator pack relocates forwards slightly, the aluminium frame will need a small notch cutting for clearance where the condenser mounts
  • Bend the horn bracket forwards slightly

1. Area to be notched as close

2. Take a notch out of the frame

This area was notched out to make sure it’s not rubbing on the original frame edge

3. Horn adjustments

Bend the horn bracket and horn forward to clear

4. Pipes

4.1. Pipes extended

The pipes were extended. They are rubber hoses further back.

5. AWR5339 rubber mount

for spacing to mount the Air Con Radiator

6. Alternative spacer design

6.1. AS183 Spacers
