This fits later model, right hand drive (including some LHD NAS Spec) Defender, but please check your application before ordering!
Our larger matrix has twice the capacity of standard, increases heat output and improves windscreen demisting times.
Our cores are the highest quality atmosphere controlled brazed core construction with louvered and hemmed fins at 19 fins per inch for maximum efficiency.
All of our products are TIG welded by hand in house.

This warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of original purchase. If your product fails due to a manufacturing defect we will repair or replace it without charge, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this policy.
The products eligible for warranty are covered to the original owner, and not a third party.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use. Neither are we liable for any claims for workshop time, loss of earning, vehicle storage etc
Damage not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable rate and a fee will be charged for return shipping.
For warranty evaluation, your product must be returned directly to AlliSport Ltd, Aubrey’s Farm, Bromesberrow Estate, Ledbury, Herefordshire, HR8 1RZ, UK.
All shipping for warranty must be pre-paid, suitably packed and insured and accompanied by reference to the original invoice. We cannot be liable for lost or damaged in-bound packages.

My Matrix that I received is built like the proverbial Tank. It so solid and well put together that I think you could stand on it and do it no harm (no liability will taken if you do so and break it from me or Allisport). You will need to modify you heater box Matrix clamping frames but that’s no big deal. A Dremel type cutting wheel works best I found with a good set of files to tidy up at the end. The only niggley thing I have to complain about it lack of Stickers in the box to replace the ones already stuck to the Matrix, just in case you wish to paint the End Tanks and Frame of the Matrix like I have, that’s all. Other than that I’m a happy chappy, Thanks Guys. Now that was about the actual Item. As to Customer Service, I was informed when I first purchased both the Matrix and a Radiator for my TD5 that there would be a delay as they (Allisport) had just moved shop and production was not at full capacity. Ok, I can live with a small delay for top notch gear right….but not 5 months. What soured the experience for me the most was a lack of regular updates unless I poked the mountain and requested one, and even then that didn’t always get a reply. I know I got them in a bad situation with the shop swap but common guys, 5 months, really! Anyway I was going to give Allisport 3 Stars, HOWEVER they redeemed them selves by including a small sweetener with in my packages (that’s between me and Allisport) and just the other day I sent a request through if I could have some stickers to go onto my freshly painted items and I received a resounding “YES” and “how many would I like” and I have already been told “sent in the mail’, SO 4 Stars it is (just in case they get lost in the mail). 😀

I ordered one of these as the existing one gave out about as much heat as a door draft, so followed a few reviews and took the plunge. All I can say is… I am so glad I did. Firstly the build quality is amazing, secondly the heat output is noticeable hotter. OK like all defenders the Td5 engine takes time to heat up. So can take time for the heat to come through but this is no fault of the matrix, but when the engine is at running temperature the heat output is amazing. So bring on the winter, I’m ready.

The craftsmanship put into this heater core is so superior to the OEM or any other attempt its not even funny. The communication with AlliSport throughout the inquiry and ordering process was exactly what you’d expect from a custom fab upgraded parts supplier, simply perfect and dead on with all their recommendations. This heater core provides heat like I’ve never experienced in my D110 and actually keeps the wife and kids very happy even when its -2º and blizzardy outside. The simple fab work needed to fit this item in is so simple and yields such a huge benefit for actual heat that works in freezing climates. Finally got round to installing a Allisport heater matrix in my 300 TDi and wow!
Unlike the factory original, the Allisport matrix deserves the word heater in its name, a night to day improvement. 5 minutes into the test drive I had to turn the fan down from the old ‘all winter’ max setting and 5 minutes after that I had to turn the heat level down to the mid point! No longer will I need to wear a heavy coat when driving in winter or shout quite so loudly over the flat out fan noise.
And its a thing of beauty with fab looking weld quality, shame its buried in the heater box.
Overall all, it really is that good.
